Jazz and Oysters celebrates its 25th ANNIVERSARY this year with a lineup you won’t want to miss. Each August, the Oysterville schoolhouse grounds is transformed into a jazz club, complete with oysters, desserts, beverages, sausages and and an array of other tasty tidbits. And then come the jazz fans and the music. Over the years, Water Music Festival has hosted some of the best musicians in the Pacific Northwest, and the magic lasts all day!
Make a weekend of it this year, starting with Blues and Seafood at the Port of Ilwaco on August 13 and 14, and then Jazz and Oysters on Sunday. Click on the individual artists to learn more about their amazing talents. We are proud to welcome the Merlot Tide Quartet for the morning session and Pearl Django for the afternoon session. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, sunscreen (yes, the sun generally shines for J & O) and enjoy a magical day!
Jazz and Oysters is a major fundraiser for Water Music Festival in October, and it has historically been one of the most popular events of the year on the Long Beach Peninsula.
