Kate Davis
Growing up as a classical violinist, Kate has been involved with a variety of musical styles since the age of 5. When relocated to the Pacific Northwest 8 years ago, she developed two new passions, coffee and jazz. From then on, the upright bass and voice became her primary musical outlets. She was named a “youngARTS” silver winner, 4 time Downbeat Student Award winner, was selected to participate in the Brubeck Summer Jazz Colony, and the Grammy Jazz Ensemble. In 2009 she was selected as a Presidential Scholar of the Arts. Kate Davis Web Site
Tom Grant
Tom Grant, master instrumentalist, talented singer and natural entertainer nimbly walks the line between jazz tradition and modern pop. He plays jazz piano with the harmonic sophistication and deep sense of swing that only comes from more than three decades on the bandstand. At the same time, his recordings have consistently landed at the top of the Smooth Jazz charts, a genre of music Tom helped pioneer in the mid-80s. Tom Grant Web Site

Ron Steen
Veteran drummer and bandleader Ron Steen is one of the Northwest’s top rhythm keepers and leader of the Portland jazz scene. He has performed with a host of jazz artists such as Joe Henderson, Woody Shaw, Dexter Gordon, Eddie Harris, Sonny Stitt and Charles Lloyd among many others. He is also the “Godfather of Jazz Jams” in Portland, having hosted ongoing jam sessions since 1980. Steen’s ability to bring together top musicians in town and around the nation make him one of the city’s most valuable assets. Ron Steen Web Site
