The Miramont Trio
Since 2006, Janet Chvatal and Marc Gremm have produced and starred in a number of projects for the stage: musicals, open-air concerts, opera galas and special charity events. Chvatal and Marc Gremm have released a number of CD’s, the proceeds of which support the Children’s Cancer Help in Southern Germany and the Edwards Center in Oregon. In a special musical and historical event, Janet & Marc invited Scott Kritzer to perform with them in a benefit concert at the Castle Neuschwanstein, in Bavaria in August of 2011. The Castle Neuschwanstein is considered to be one of the World’s Greatest Architectural Wonders and was the inspiration for Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. It was here, in the famous Singer’s Hall, that the Miramont Trio was born.
Janet Marie Chvatal
American soprano Janet Chvatal made her professional debut as “Louisa”, in the 25th anniversary of the longest running musical on Broadway, THE FANTASTIKS and her European debut in Vienna as “Christine” in Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Chvatal has recorded with BMG and SONY records. And been featured on commercials for Nike and Adidas, on CD recordings and appeared on stage with pop legend Gino Vannelli, at the Montreal Jazz Festival. In the world premiere musical LUDWIG², Ms. Chvatal created the leading role of the legendary Empress of Austria, and has since then made her home in Bavaria, Germany. In the U.S.A., Europe and in Canada she has appeared in Duo with classical guitarist Scott Kritzer, including highlight performances at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and the Festhalle in Frankfurt, Germany. The Duo has also performed in Gala events with the stars of Riverdance, the Gypsy Kings and with the Cirque du Soleil.
Marc Gremm
Marc Gremm is a German Baritone born and raised near Stuttgart, Germany, He began his vocal studies with Opera Singer Eva Randova, continuing with master classes from Kammersinger Wolfgang Brendel, Thomas Allen and Leo Nucci.
His first musical performances included leading roles in THE SOUND OF THEIR MUSIC, THE SECRET GARDEN before landing a role in the popular German musical DANCE OF THE VAMPIRES. Soon after, Mr. Gremm was engaged to perform the leading role of “Javert” in LES MISERABLES.
In 2005, Marc Gremm performed the leading role of “King Ludwig“ in the world premiere musical LUDWIG² and since then has appeared in concert throughout Europe, including a guest role as the “Toreador” in Bizet’s CARMEN.
